Snippets of Inspiration

This month my focus has been to find daily DELIGHT. Delight is not always obvious. Often times you have to create your own delight! I have been doing that through drawing every day. I am still playing with my style and getting to know myself as an artist. I know that this is an ongoing process and I am excited to continuously evolve! I hope that you are playing and discovering new parts of your creativity as well.

Here are a few things that I have been working on since last week.

Cooler temperatures, leaves changing, and pumpkin spice everything has Autumn showing up in my work this week. I have given into temptation and started making pumpkin spice cold brew at home a few days a week. Yum. We have also eaten our fair share of zucchini and garden tomatoes thanks to my mom!

When fall starts showing up, I start getting excited for Halloween! The potion bottles are just the beginning of all things spooky. I am too late to get a Halloween collection in my Spoonflower shop, but it won't stop me from indulging in the macabre and preparing for next year!

Last, but not least, I created a repeat pattern of BOOKS! Reading is one of my favorite things to do and I have not been doing enough of it lately. I listen to a lot of audiobooks, but there is something extra special about curling up with a good book and tuning out the rest of the world. Have you read anything exciting lately? I'd love recommendations!
