A Moment of Pause
With less than 2 weeks until Christmas, HOW ARE YOU? No, really?! Are you taking time to enjoy the holiday season or are you getting so wrapped up in the hubbub that you are exhausted and all out of Christmas cheer? Honestly, I'm in a state of delusion and mere days away from panic! I have been enjoying the holiday season - decorating, watching cheesy Christmas movies and loving the holiday lights, but I am far from prepared! I have gathered things here and there, but there are a ton of lose ends to tie up and packages that need to be mailed by Friday.
It's fine. Everything will be fine. I'm just going to pour me another cup of hot coffee with homemade gingerbread creamer (I don't know who is in charge of the store bought gingerbread creamer, but they should be fired! Where's the molasses? Where's the GINGER?!) and take a deep, cleansing breathe!
Will you join me? Let's stop for a moment and relax. Take a slow, deep inhale. Relax your jaw (release your tongue from the roof of your mouth). Drop your shoulders. Exhale with a sigh. Smile. Repeat throughout the day - especially when you hear that one Christmas song that really drives you crazy.
