A pattern collection inspired by camping with my Granny in the high Uinta mountains of Utah. Each summer my Poppy would drop us off among the wildflowers, aspen and pine trees, help us set up camp and head back into the city for work. Granny and I would set to work exploring the area, cleaning up trash everywhere we went. She would tell me the names of flowers and let me explore with wild abandon. Her little camper was home. I would wake up to the smell of coffee from the percolator and fresh mountain air blowing in from the windows. On Friday Poppy would roll into camp in his pick up truck hauling a restock of supplies. He would stay for the weekend. Sometimes other family would join us, but my favorite memories are when it was just the two of us alone in the mountains. The trees were my sanctuary. The flowers, my inspiration.
