Doodle Me Fun

Creative play in the margins of life is an essential part of growing a creative garden. Don’t take yourself too seriously and allow for moments of doodling fun - without expectation!

This Whimsical Wednesday’s 5-minutes of creative nurturing is to look at the attached watercolor blobs and doodle what you see. It’s like looking for shapes in the clouds or a Rorschach inkblot test. Feel free to use the watercolor blobs I’ve done for you, or if you have an extra 5 minutes, create your own! Swirl around inks, get wild with the watercolor, or push around some acrylic. Let dry and come back for a moment of play. What do you see? Animals, objects, speech bubbles to fill with your creative whispers?

If you download my blobs, you can open them in Procreate for a digital doodle or print them out on your home printer. These fun sheets are a great tool to tuck away in your purse so you can doodle in the waiting moments! Make sure to turn the blobs upside down and all around until a shape jumps out. Let loose and stay open to possibility!
